THE CREATION OF NEW THINGS
And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful (Revelation 21:5).
The LORD through the Prophets and
in the words of Revelation spoke of having made all things new. We are asked to
rejoice for the new things He has created. Old things have passed away. The new
things started with the new covenant in Christ through whom He promised to freely
forgive our sins and cleanse us from all our unrighteousness. He is our
Righteousness and justification.
Therefore, He has made for us a
covenant of peace for us with our God through His Blood. We dwell with the LORD
as sons without fear. His angels of peace surround us so that we are not afraid
of any terror by night or day. Our hearts shall not fail us for fear for the
LORD our God is our confidence and our feet shall never be taken. He has also appointed
covenant of peace for us with all the beasts of the field and with man so that
all shall dwell in peace.
The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie
down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together;
and a little child shall lead them. And the cow and the bear shall feed; their
young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. And
the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall
put his hand on the cockatrice' den. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my
holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the
waters cover the sea (Isaiah 11:6-9).
